Uses

Blocking oestrogen production helps affect the spread of cancer, and prevent its growth. It may also decrease the likelihood of the cancer returning. In some cases, doctors have treated patients for endometriosis with this medicine. Medical researchers have also studied it effects if used by men to treat gynaecomastia, hypogonadism and prostate problems. This may be related to it decreasing excess oestrogen.
