It is a type of sulfonylurea anti diabetic pill, that helps the pancreas in releasing insulin thus helping reduce the blood sugar level. It belongs to a class of pills known as sulfonylureas.
The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember. If it is time for the ensuing dosage then the missed dose can be skipped.

Glycomet-GP 2 pill is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Glimepiride and Metformin. Metformin is a biguanide which works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin.
